2020/2021 HOUSE LEAGUE 

SEASON DETAILS

 

(U7) (2014)

  • There will be 2 tiers of skill levels: " House League " and "IP6 CDS" (formally Select).
  • House League Games: early Saturday mornings at North Toronto Arena
  • House League Skills: Tuesdays at Del Lasalle Arena
  • CDS Games: Saturday mornings at North Toronto Arena
  • CDS Skills: Monday’s at Forest Hill Arena
  • Players will be evaluated during skills session to ensure team balance.
  • Small ice activity, skill development will be part of every week.
  • Games will be cross-ice only. 
  • Festival in April will celebrate the season and hand out awards. 

 

(U8)(2013)​​​​​​​

  • There will be 2 tiers of skill levels: " House League " and "CDS" (formally Select)
  • House League Games: Saturday afternoon at North Toronto Arena
  • House League Skills: Sunday morning at Upper Canada College (UCC) Arena or Wednesday’s at Del Lasalle Arena
  • CDS Games: Saturday afternoon at North Toronto Arena
  • CDS Skills: Thursday’s at De Lasalle  Arena
  • Players will be evaluated during skills session to ensure team balance.
  • Small ice activity, skill development will be part of every week.
  • Games will be half/modified ice.
  • Cost: $635.00

 

(U9)(2012)​​​​​​​

  • There will be 2 tiers of skill levels: " House League " and "CDS" (formally Select)
  • House League Games: Saturday afternoon at North Toronto Arena
  • House League Skills: Sunday morning at Upper Canada College (UCC) Arena or Wednesday’s at Del Lasalle Arena
  • CDS Games: Saturday afternoon at North Toronto Arena
  • CDS Skills: Mondays at Forest Hill Arena
  • Players will be evaluated during skills session to ensure team balance.
  • Small ice activity, and some skill development will take place most weeks, and Games will be half/modified ice for the first half of the season.
  • Full ice games will be held in the second half of the season.
  • Cost: $635.00

 

(U10 - U11) (2011/2010)

  • There will be 2 tiers of skill levels: " House League " and "HL Select”
  • House League Games: early Sunday mornings at North Toronto Arena
  • House League Skills: Saturday afternoon at Rinx Arena
  • HL Select Games: Sunday morning  at North Toronto Arena
  • HL Select Skills: Saturday afternoon at Rinx Arena
  • Players will be evaluated during skills session to ensure team balance
  • Cost: $635.00

 

(U12 - U13) (2009/2008

  • There will be 2 tiers of skill levels: " House League " and "HL Select”
  • House League Games: Sunday afternoons at North Toronto Arena and Del Lasalle Arena
  • House League Skills: Saturday afternoon at Rinx Arena
  • HL Select Games: Sunday morning  at North Toronto Arena
  • HL Select Skills: Wednesday or Friday at Del Lasalle Arena
  • Players will be evaluated during skills session to ensure team balance
  • Cost: $635.00

 

(U14 - U15) (2007/2006)

  • Games will be held Saturday morning at De La Salle Arena.
  • Teams will be a mix of House League players and Select players.
  • Re-balancing will take place after the season starts to ensure balanced teams as much as possible
  • Cost: $635.00

 

(U16 -U18) (2005/2004/2003)

  • Games all played Sunday afternoons at North Toronto Arena and Del Lasalle Arena
  • Teams will be a mix of Minor Midget, Midget Jr and Midget Sr players and will have a balance of House League and Select.
  • Cost: $635.00

 

 

 

WHAT ELSE IS INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

Fees include jersey,socks, and a combination team/individual player photo.

REFUND POLICY

Refunds for Learn to Play & House League

  • If prior to September 15th the entire 2020-21 season is officially cancelled all players will receive a 100% refund. This refund will be credited automatically to the original card used for payment(s) by October 31st, 2020.
  • If prior to September 15th the 2020-21 season start date is officially delayed past October 31st, all players will receive a calculate refund that will be credited automatically to the original card used for payment(s) by the new season start date.

At all other times, you must notify the Registrar via email (registrar@nthockey.ca) about your intent to withdraw and to request any refund, if applicable. Authorized refunds will be issued within 30 days of receiving written notification. 

Players who are on a Wait List, or who otherwise have their registration declined because their division/session is full will receive a 100% refund (however no refund will be provided until an official request to withdraw is received by the Registrar.)

Prior to August 15th, players may withdraw and receive a refund of any fees paid minus the $100 deposit, which is not refundable.

From August 15th – Sept. 15th, there is no refund available unless:

  • Your player’s division/session has an active Wait List and your players’ spot is replaced by a new registrant from that list by Sept. 15. In this case, the refund will be for any fees paid minus the $100 deposit, which is not refundable.

After Sept. 15th, there is no refund available.

 

Exclusions and Exceptions

  • Players registered in U10-U18 (b.2003-2011) House League may receive a 100% refund as follows:
    • The player is carded to a North Toronto “A” or “AA” team OR
    • We receive confirmation from the GTHL that the player has been carded on a “A”, “AA” or “AAA” team at another club, within 4 days of the end of the corresponding tryout window, and BEFORE the player confirms acceptance of a roster position on a North Toronto Select team  (in which case no refund is applicable, as below).
    • A refund will be issued within 30 days of receiving written notification of intent to withdraw from House League sent to registrar@nthockey.ca .
  • Any player that accepts a roster position with a North Toronto Select team following the last tryout session OR any player that accepts an invitation to a Red or Green CDS team tryout, and subsequently wishes to withdraw from House League at any time after will receive no refund.
  • According to GTHL Rule 7.12, you may be registered with only one hockey club/association at any given time in the Hockey Canada Registry. Any player found to be registered with multiple clubs/associations and who chooses to withdraw from North Toronto will be subject to the above refund conditions, including the $100 non-refundable deposit.
  • After the season start (as defined by the first scheduled and publicly posted on-ice session) the North Toronto Hockey Association will determine how much refund, if any, may be owing as a cause of:
    • Any level of government, their corresponding health authorities, or our hockey governing bodies issuing unforeseen lockdown/isolation directives that prevent us from delivering our programming.
    • Any ice facilities becoming unusable temporarily or permanently due to any virus-related closures, fire, mechanical failure, labour disruptions or weather-related events.
    • Any player who withdraws their participation voluntarily or involuntarily for any reason, including quarantine orders.

1. Go to the profiles tab of your user dashboard
2. Select the profile that was used to register
3. Click the Registration History tab
4. Select the Registration Entry to edit
5. Click the Pencil Icon next to the field to change
6. Enter the new information
7. Click Save

** Not all sections can be editable. ** If you need to make a change on something you cannot please email hl@nthockey.ca
