North Toronto Hockey

2021/2022 - LTP and HL NTHA Player Registration

Welcome

WELCOME TO THE NORTH TORONTO HOCKEY REGISTRATION

We’re really glad you’re here taking the time to register your child. Grab a coffee or tea and set aside about 5-10 minutes to get it all done. Please read everything carefully and ensure that important stuff like names and email addresses are properly spelled out so we can stay in touch easily and in case we need more information.

Proof of Age:

Before you go any further, it is important to ensure you have a JPEG file containing a photo of any document that verifies your child’s birthdate such as a Birth Certificate or Passport.
You will not be able to complete this registration without uploading a file and you must register your child in a program that corresponds to their birth year.

Respect in Sport - Parent

As per Hockey Canada, one parent from each family must complete the Respect in Sport Parent program.  Please complete the program as soon as possible following Registration.  Here is the link: http://www.gthlcanada.com/respect-in-sport-parent-program Please note there is a small fee for this course.  North Toronto does not receive any money from this program, as it is a course mandated by Hockey Canada.  If you have completed the course you never need to take it again.  Please make sure all new players have been added to your RIS profile. Here is the RIS Helpdesk contact info:  http://respectgroupinc.com

Please note that completion of a registration does not guarantee immediate acceptance in House League or Learn to Play if:

  • session or division limits are reached you will be placed on a Wait List and notified.
  • there are any issues verifying birthdate or other information you will be contacted by the Registrar .
  • your child is already registered with another club we will not be able to accept this registration.

You can be registered with only one hockey club or association at any given time.

Covid Policy

In the event NTHA has to cancel all or part of a program due to a Covid-19 related issue (such as government and public health guideline restrictions), families will be provided with a full refund for the amount paid (or a partial refund if the program has already started).  Refunds will not be provided for injury or illness related reasons.

Where hockey dreams start.

Learn to Play (LTP) Programs: $675 plus a third-party payment processing fee.
(For children born 2017-2016)

Welcome to your new home for hockey! The North Toronto LTP program is one of the most comprehensive hockey skills programs in the country designed for our youngest players. It combines professional, caring instructors with the latest strategies and techniques to ensure your child has a fun, safe and high-energy first experience of hockey. It is the perfect launching pad for any young child who wants to play in our community House League or competitive hockey programs.

Learn to Play 1 – For beginners and all children new to hockey.

Learn to Play 2 – For players who have completed LTP 1 (or equivalent)

Please remember this is not a "Learn to Skate program".  While they don't need to be gliding, they need to at least be walking/running with their skates on the ice.  They also need to be able to get up to a standing position on their own if they fall.
